Leslie Kelley, aka COLOR Girl, has been drawing and coloring for most of her life, usually working hard to stay neat, tidy and in the lines. She holds a B.S. in apparel design, a certification in interior design and has also studied graphic design. Her past experiences include costume design for the dance and theater communities, event planning, visual merchandising, interior decorating, and a broad array of volunteer leadership roles in local non-profits, school boards and community organizations.
When the empty-nest syndrome was looming a few years back, Leslie decided to take her love for color and how it relates to design to a new level. She began studying with Leatrice Eiseman, director of the Pantone Color Institute and her “COLOR” business began shortly after that.
Leslie’s personal interests include writing children’s books, photography, physical fitness, healthy cooking, beach combing, and doing anything that involves color.
